Scarponi Group has a long history of family linked to the founder Gianluigi Scarponi that has always made of quality, of the constant research for excellence, of the reliability and the innovation of his guiding values

Everything has its origin in 1976 with the opening of "Bar del Collegio" and the "Old Vip Bar", the activities carried out until 1980, and grew up with the founding by Gianluigi Scarponi and his wife Franca Iotti of Catering Company "Iotti & Scarponi - Organizzazione Zeta" which was conducted by them until 1994 at the national level working for the most prestigious industry brands, fashion and engines.

During the same years the collaboration with the the Casino dei Nobili in via Cesare Battisti in Modena, with food service for social and cultural events of high quality.

From 1992 to 2005 he attends with his brother Claudio conducting the famous Restaurant "La Secchia Rapita" and the Catering company "Modena e il Canalgrande" boasting clients such as the Rotary Club, Lions Club, Ferrari Club, Graniti Fiandre,Atlas Concorde, Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna etc.

In 1991, then it founded "Villa Casino Riva" company based in the homonymous nineteenth-century residence in Nonantola (MO) that, after careful restoration lasted over two years, was reopened to the public for small and large events, becoming a venue for gala dinners and periodic presentations of different Modena historical associations, as Areoclub of Nonantola, Rotary Club, Order of the Modenese Nocino, Association Expert Tasters Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, ModenaTour etc.

Born in 2012 Modena Catering is a young company which is founded on the years and confirmed experience of its members and its staff, many years working in the field of high-class restaurants.

In 2015 begins also the management of La Cafeteria Palazzo dei Musei with which organizes a series of events even within the beautiful setting of the Galleria Estense in Modena.
